Lewis “Jack” Francis

PERRY��" Lewis Jack Francis, 61, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2006 doing what he loved most.
He was born November 26, 1944 in Brigham City, Utah to Peter Earl and Irene Newman Francis.
He was reared and educated in Brigham City and Perry. He graduated from Box Elder High School. He served an LDS Mission in Hawaii from May 1964 to 1966. Then in 1968 to 1972 he served in the US Air Force in Okinawa.
Jack married his sweetheart Marsha Morris on July 16, 1971. They were blessed with six boys; Shane, Shawn, Justin, Shad, Tony and Brett. He did excavation work in west Box Elder County. Jack and his wife then started a very successful business, Francis Trucking, in 1990. It started out as one truck and has now grown to over 60 trucks.
Next to his wife and family the greatest love in Jack��(TM)s life was flying his airplanes. He also enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, being outdoors and riding horses.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha, Perry; mother, Irene, Perry; six sons, Shane (Crista) Francis, Tremonton; Shawn (Ginger) Francis, Perry; Justin (Amber) Francis, Perry; Shad (Nikki) Francis, Brigham City; Tony Francis and Brett Francis both of Perry. He also has six grandchildren; Kirsten, Kaden, Trace, Hollie, Jaxie and Hayden. He is survived by one brother, Kenneth (Nanci) Francis, Fruit Heights, and one sister, Kathleen (Terry) Jones, Perry, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Earl Francis and one niece, Brooke Suzanne Jones.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Willard/ Perry Stake Center, 685 W. 2250 S., Perry, UT.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Saturday, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be held in the Brigham City Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by VFW Post 1695.
