Beverly was born on June 19, 1945, in Brigham City, UT, to George L. and Verda B. Knavel.  She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1963.  Beverly married the love of her life, Thomas Joseph Miggin on September 13, 1963. Together they raised four beautiful children and were later sealed as a family in the Ogden Temple on January 18, 1986.

Beverly was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, the Ladies Community Club and enjoyed serving on the Brigham City Beautification Committee. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings including Relief Society president.   Being a very accomplished pianist, she loved her 60 years serving as the ward organist.
