Volunteer work editing for Dialogue led to job editing the BYU Women's Conference volumes for 10 years (great summer job with young family and husband in medical school at the U)
My husband is an independent rural general surgeon practicing in Nephi and Gunnison. Reluctantly, I have drifted into being the office manager (not my idea of fun) and continue to do editing (yes, fun and something more rewarding because I'm more competent at it). I'm working currently for the Aileen H. Clyde 20th-Century Women’s Legacy Archive at the University of Utah. "The focus of the interview project is three-fold:(1) to record the personal histories of 20th century women, (2) to record memories and emotions related to historical events and social change processes, and (3) to explore women’s participation in and response to social and cultural change." See? Fun!
