Dennis M. Yamasaki, 65, of Kingwood Texas, died January 11, 2010 in Houston, Texas surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born December 2, 1944 in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Mitsuru "Sootie" Yamasaki and the Late Tohiko "Ruby" Yamasaki. He was the eldest of five siblings JoAnne, Sheldon, Merlynne and Geniel. On June 4, 1966 he married Bonnie Tipp who survives. 
He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1963 and earned his Bachelor's degree from Utah State University. He was a football letterman at both schools.
He was employed his entire professional 33 year career with Champion International later to become International Paper Company as an organizational development/human resource manager. He spent most of his spare time with his family and was an active member of his church. He had a fondness for most all sports and participated in them throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, his son Jon Yamasaki of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; son Jeff Yamasaki of Austin, Texas; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Wendy Yamasaki of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Regan, Dylan, Rian, and Adam.
A Service is to be held Saturday, January 16th at Myers Mortuary in Brigham City: Viewing 12, Funeral Service 1.
Interment will take place in the Brigham City Cemetery
